[He thinks about leaving it there, but thinks better of it. If Lux had company, the last thing Chris wanted to do was disrupt his plans, that was like asking to come over during dinner, especially when you didn't intend to eat. Not today, at least.]
If you are, this can wait, not a special call so much as a social call.
Could just take your couch, too.
[Gods, nevermind, this sounded pathetic now, was there a way to un-send messages?]
If you weren't you, I'd be worried with you saying that.
I'll be there.
[It feels a little weird to walk through Lux's house without him in it, but maybe not as weird as it should feel, either, as he climbs the stairs to Lux's room. He puts his jacket, boots, collar, and even his holy symbol and scythe pole in the corner. He didn't usually carry the weapon around, but considering what happened a couple days ago, he felt better with it.
Lux's room felt safe, though, and that was why he'd wanted to come.
He laid out on the bed, careful of the tender spot on his neck while he stared at the ceiling. After a moment, however, he grabs one of Lux's pillows and presses it over his face and tells himself it's not for the smell he was looking for.]
[He smiles under the pillow when he hears Lux's voice, his mind already calming it's turning.]
Is it blasphemy to call you godsent?
[It's said like a joke, but as he puts the pillow back and reaches for the food, that's about what it feels like. Had he eaten today? He's suddenly not sure and starving. Although, he's not so far gone that he doesn't move to the edge of the bed with the bag. Crumbs on Lux's bed was not acceptable in his mind.]
I'm not interrupting your plans, right? You didn't actually tell me.
I'm busy with you from the sounds of it. So unless my Dom needs me I'm all yours.
[Lux chuckles as he pulls off his clothes to carry them to the closet to put away. Once he's happily naked save for his Sub collar (because he always leaves that on), he heads back over to stretch out on the bed so he can grab a bite of food too.]
By the way, I'm basically a god in my world. So It's probably not blasphemy if you wanna go by that point of view.
[Well, he couldn't argue with that and, honestly, didn't want to.
He watches Lux instead, perfectly content to watch him strip down all but the collar and then settle in. Chris holds out the food for him to take, finishes what he has and then leaves it within reach for Lux while he moves so he can pillow Lux's head in his lap.]
Oh, well in that case, it's probably more blasphemy the things I like you doing to me and I like doing to you.
[Clerics probably weren't supposed to fuck gods.]
Still, thank you for letting me come over. And the blanket invite, it means a lot. [He ran his fingers through Lux's hair gently as Chris smiled down at him.] I just needed to see your face.
[Accepting the food and lap, he settles in with a sigh. He doesn't actually need the food himself but Lux enjoys snacking with people. He might not be his brother but food is still pretty great.
Smiling up at him, he laughs a bit.]
I'm told it's a pretty good face. Glad you get to see it as often as you want.
[Lux couldn't go two steps down the street without netting someone's appreciating gaze. It was something he admired when he'd spent so many years making sure he was the least noticed.
His smile turned a little softer...a little more melancholy as he studied Lux's face. People didn't stay dead here...but there'd been a fear in him two nights ago and the thought of not seeing Lux, touching him...gods, it was exactly what he'd been trying to avoid when he'd fist gotten here and now he was happily buried in it.]
I'm no good at saying things when they're for me...but I hope you know you make me feel safe. Safer than I ever have, even at home, and that's no small thing to me.
[He looks up at him, admiring how beautiful he is. While he knows he'll fuck anyone there's just something about Chris' face that always draws him in.]
Honestly I'm glad. I want you to feel safe with me. And here at my place too. That's why I wanted to let you know you can come anytime. Even if I'm not here.
[Reaching up, he tucks some of that hair behind Chris' ear.]
[He feels too open, too exposed, and it's the nature of that feeling that has him failing at words now that some have leaked out. He trusts Lux more than anyone else in Duplicity, that much he knew, but the feeling remained all the same. It wasn't Lux's fault, just a Chris Sonom thing.
Still, Lux's reply draws a smile to his face. It was nice to hear, even if he still didn't know what to do with it.]
You think? Well, I guess as long as you're saying it, that's all right.
[He started to lean down to kiss Lux, but the angle caused his neck to throb and he stopped short with a wince, awkwardly half-hovering over the Incubus. Chris went for a compromise instead and reached for Lux's hand that had gone for his hair so he could press a kiss to his palm instead.]
[The wince makes him lift a brow and he watches him a moment as he kisses his hand. Lifting his other, he pushes it through his hair then tilts his head to the side.]
[The tilt reveals the rough patch of pinkish skin just at his throat and under his hair, all but healed now, but still a bit raw and why he wasn't wearing either his collar or his holy symbol. Maybe another few days and it would just be a scar like any other.]
No, I'm alright. Some vampire fucker bit me in an alley couple days ago. Got me cornered, I was sloppy. From how some of the stories are supposed to tell it, that kind of thing's supposed to feel good. Guess he didn't get the note.
[He says it lightly, it is mostly okay, but there's a flicker of something through him. Anger. At himself, at the vampire, at the whole thing.]
Not every vampire can make it feel good. Especially when it's an attack.
[Lux lets himself get a better look at the pink skin. He frowns a bit, running his thumb gently over the area. Chris doesn't want the healing so he won't give it. But damn does he want to anyway.]
[There's a small twitch to his eye for the touch, but he doesn't fully wince or pull away. It only hurt here and there, little twinges when he did something the skin didn't like, Lux's light touch wasn't that. More a highlighter for how sensitive the skin was.]
Enough I had to call a friend for help, but not so much to be a real danger. I split open his sorry hide before he could take what he wanted.
[There'd been threats of leaving him bleeding out in an alleyway...maybe it was pride, but that wasn't how he was going to let himself go out, if he could help it.]
[Vampires might be what he considers his children but he'd sell them all out for Chris. He's realizing that now as he gently touches him and offers him a smile.]
If you hadn't I'd have to go find him so you could properly fuck him up.
[His smile turns grateful and more than a little pleased at the idea. No threats of fucking someone up for him, but just finding him so Chris could do it himself. Yeah, he liked the idea of that.]
That's my guy.
[He repeated it back, full of affection and soft as he carefully leaned down despite the slight pull along his neck to kiss Lux. Upside-down kisses were nice and no tenderness was going to stop him from those lips.]
[He really likes how that sounds honestly. Being Chris' guy. It's not something he's ever been and he sure as fuck hasn't ever been in love or anything like that before. But the more he gets to know Chris the more he finds himself attached to him.
Fuck but he doesn't love people ever.
...Maybe he should reach out to Rafa about this. That guy is so empathetic that he's sure to have better insight into what is going on here.
For now, he contents himself with tilting his head up to enjoy the kiss, reaching up to push his fingers through Chris' soft hair as he does.]

Out grabbing something but you better be on my bed. You deserve better than my couch.
[Time to grab some takeout on the way back.]

See you soon, handsome.
[Lux is about fifteen minutes more but when he gets there he heads right upstairs. Seeing Chris there, he smiles and shakes the bag a bit.]
I brought food. Let me get comfortable but you can dig in.
